iTEM stands for Innovative Teaching Education in Mathematics. Its main objective is to improve the teaching, learning, and understanding of first-year Mathematics among Engineering and Computer Science students in Europe, Israel, Kosovo, and Uzbekistan.
The key to iTEM's approach is to strive, whenever possible, to drive the mathematic theory from a real-life problem. In other words, students will be introduced to a real-life problem and then, through the solution to the problem, will either develop or be introduced to mathematical concepts and theory.
The iTEM consortium will hold its upcoming event at Hadassah Academic College, hosting specialists from Greece, Denmark, Czech Republic, North Macedonia, Austria, Uzbekistan, Sweden, Spain, Kosovo, and Israel. We are proud and delighted to host this distinguished panel in Jerusalem.
**Please be aware that Israel requires foreign visitors to have health insurance and fill out this form before their arrival as a part of their COVID restrictions**
