The appropriate preparatory course channel will be determined pursuant to the academic background with which the candidate arrives.
A new academic channel for students who do not have a matriculation certificate or have less than 7 matriculation credit points: This is a 3-month pre-preparatory course intended for acquiring basic skills in preparation for studies at the pre-academic preparatory course. On completion of the pre-preparatory course period, students will be examined in a screening examination (TIL) for studies in the pre-academic preparatory course and, anyone meeting the threshold requirements will study in the 9-month pre-academic preparatory course in preparation for academic studies.
Designated channels replacing matriculation requirements in advance of acceptance for studies for a degree – These channels are intended for students, who wish to study in one of the academic faculties at the Hadassah Academic College and who are not eligible for a matriculation certificate or are entitled to a certificate that does not suffice for the purposes of acceptance in the faculty that they require.
Within the framework of the pre-academic preparatory course (Mechina), students study the relevant disciplines for the degree that they want and will not complete a matriculation certificate. The pre-academic preparatory course certificate replaces a matriculation certificate only for the purposes of acceptance in the various faculties at the Hadassah Academic College and not for the additional conditions necessary in each faculty.
The studies in this channel are intended to impart students with knowledge in mathematics, English and scientific disciplines at the level required of them from the School of Health and Life Sciences at the college with the goal of easing their integration into academic studies. The preparatory course (Mechina) will enable acquiring a scientific background reinforced with mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology for those interested in the scientific faculties and reinforced mathematics and programming in the computer sciences.
The studies in this channel are intended to impart students with knowledge in mathematics, English and the social sciences disciplines at the level required of them from the School of the Health and Life Sciences at the college with the goal of easing their integration into academic studies. The academic level in the channel and the advanced academic content in the disciplines and study methods are appropriate for academic studies as well as for studies in the channel that imparts the students with the necessary skills, scientific thinking tools and academic study aptitudes from the world of the social sciences.

The channel intended for people over the age of 30, who do not have a matriculation certificate and who wish to be accepted in the academic faculties at the Hadassah Academic College in Jerusalem.
“Mesheli” Program – Discharged Persons Study Together” offers those discharged from military or national service a course for completing 12 years of study at the pre-academic preparatory course and accompaniment for continuing their academic and/or professional development. Completion of a high school leaving certificate is the necessary infrastructure for continuing with higher education.
The high school completion preparatory course is intended for young men and women, who did not complete their high school studies and who wish to complete 12 years of study. Those completing the program successfully will receive a certificate from the Ministry of Education and can then choose whether to choose an occupation or professional qualification or continuing studies at the designated preparatory course in preparation for academic studies.
Designated for Students from the Arabic Society, who are Graduates from the Educational System in East Jerusalem.
This is intended for students who wish to integrate into the Israeli Academia, who have the high level data for studying Hebrew and studying in Hebrew in order to integrate successfully into the academic studies.
